- We will collect and process your data only for the purposes set out in this privacy document or for specific purposes that we communicate with you / or with which you have consented to
- Your data will not be shared, sold, rented or distributed for purposes other than this Privacy Statement.
INFORMATION COLLECTED AND USED
The personal data we collect varies depending on the purpose for which they were collected and the product or service that we provide. In general, we may collect the following types of personal data directly from you:
- Personal contact details such as your name, email address, physical address and telephone numbers that are required in the context of an order or delivery
- Communication with us, including details of our conversations via chat, information lines and/or customer service;
- Information regarding your pet (type, type, breed, age, health issues) to personalise our offer and create a personalised account set-up
- The browser history, such as the pages visited, the date you did so, the location where you were located and the IP address;
We also indirectly collect personal data about you when:
- You share content on (our) social media pages, websites or applications concerning our products or in response to our promotional material on social media; or
- We read or collect personal data about you by reading information collected by other websites (for example, we can place an advertisement on a third-party website, and when you click on it, we can get information about you and other website visitors to improve the reach and success of that ad).
WHY DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION
We collect your personal data to provide an excellent online experience and high-quality customer service. In this way, we can collect, store, use and publish your data in the following cases:
- To process and answer your questions or to contact you to answer your questions and/or requests;
- To develop and improve our products, services, communication methods and the functionality of our websites;
- To deliver your order and ensure its follow-up
- To provide you with information and to manage your subscription and/or subscription to our newsletter or other communications;

If we collect and use your data for the above or other purposes, we will inform you of this in advance or at the moment. If necessary, we will ask your permission to process the personal data. You can withdraw anytime if you have consented to the processing activities.
YOUR RIGHTS
You have rights in certain circumstances under data protection laws concerning your data, as set out below:
Request access to your personal data (commonly known as a “data subject access request”). This enables you to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it.
Request correction of the personal data that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate data we hold about you corrected. However, we may need to verify the accuracy of your new data.
Request the erasure of your personal data. This enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal data without a good reason for continuing to process it. You also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your personal data where you have successfully exercised your right to object to processing (see below), where we may have processed your information unlawfully or where we are required to erase your personal data to comply with local law. Note, however, that we may not always be able to comply with your request of erasure for specific legal reasons, which will be notified to you, if applicable, at the time of your request.
Object to processing of your personal data where we rely on a legitimate interest (or those of a third party), and there is something about your particular situation that makes you want to object to processing on this ground as you feel it impacts your fundamental rights and freedoms. You also have the right to object where we are processing your personal data for direct marketing purposes. In some cases, we may demonstrate that we have compelling legitimate grounds to process your information which override your rights and freedoms.
Request restriction of processing of your personal data. This enables you to ask us to suspend the processing of your personal data in the following scenarios: (a) if you want us to establish the data’s accuracy; (b) where our use of the data is unlawful, but you do not want us to erase it; (c) where you need us to hold the data even if we no longer require it as you need it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims; or (d) you have objected to our use of your data, but we need to verify whether we have overriding legitimate grounds to use it.
Request the transfer of your personal data to you or a third party. We will provide you, or a third party you have chosen, your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. Note that this right only applies to automated information you initially provided consent for us to use or where we used the information to perform a contract with you.
Withdraw consent at any time where we are relying on consent to process your personal data. However, this will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdraw your consent. We may not provide certain products or services if you withdraw your consent. We will advise you if this is the case when you withdraw your consent.
Please see the ICO link here for more information. If you wish to exercise these rights, please get in touch with us at hello@herbiewilde.com.
We won’t usually require any fee for access to your personal data (or exercise of other rights). However, if your request is unfounded, repetitive or excessive, we may charge a reasonable fee or refuse to comply with your request.
We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made several requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated. We may contact you for further information to speed up our response to any requests.
